We stock patterned rugs, including stripes and a geometric rug. We also offer plain, natural jute rugs, to complement any colour scheme. And you can choose from a range of sizes, to suit your home, including hall runners. Our jute rugs are a perfect match for other natural materials, such as wicker, rattan, wood and leather.
Whether you opt for a patterned rug, or plain, jute rugs are a timeless investment that will last you for years to come.
Hardwearing, environmentally friendly and great value to boot, what’s not to love about jute rugs?
Jute is a natural material, derived from a plant native to Bangladesh. The plants are easier to grow than cotton, needing little fertiliser or pesticides, so jute is an environmentally friendly choice, as well as budget friendly. Jute can be used for clothing, bags, sacking, tents and flooring. Jute rugs are hard-wearing, and long lasting, so ideal for high-traffic areas, such as hallways, kitchens, utilities and playrooms.
These natural rugs are hand-woven by skilled artisans, using traditional skills passed down through the generations. And, as they’re hand-made, each of our jute rugs is unique.
As well as 100% jute rugs, we offer a jute/cotton chenille mix, which gives you the hardwearing benefits of jute, combined with the softness of cotton. This is a great modern rug for busy areas where you’re likely to walk around barefoot at least part of the time.
