Top FAQ's

What are curtain tiebacks?

Curtain tiebacks are a u-shaped textile, designed to be anchored to the wall near a window frame via a hook. When in use, they hold a curtain back, allowing you to get as much light as possible into your home, while styling your drapes.

How high up the curtain should curtain ties be?

Curtain ties are most often placed approximately a third of the way up the curtain. This allows for even styling and ensures that the curtain itself isn’t blocking any potential light. That said, you can generally put a curtain tie wherever you want to – all you need is a curtain hook.

Are curtain tiebacks still fashionable?

Pleated curtains are a classic – and by default, so are curtain tiebacks. A staple of any homes with drapes, they add elegance to the room and allow the curtains to be styled accordingly.

How long should my curtain holdback be?

All of Homescapes curtain tiebacks are 66cm long, or 26 inches long. This gives you enough room to encompass all of your curtain, and reach the tieback hook you’ve installed.
