Cushion Pads or Inners
At Homescapes, we offer a range of microfibre and feather cushion pads. Our cushion inserts come in a variety of shapes and sizes, including bolster cushions
Unsure what stuffing to go for? Hopefully we can help to make your choice a little easier.
Feather Cushion Pads
Our duck feather cushion pads are crafted using smaller feathers than usual, to give a much softer feel than you may be used to. Some brands use large feathers, chopped up, which can result in scratchy feather shafts and uneven stuffing. By just using naturally smaller feathers, you get a much more comfortable cushion. The feathers are encased in a 100% cotton anti-dust mite fabric, to make them less likely to affect allergy suffers.
Microfibre Cushion Pads
However, if feathers really aren’t your thing, you’ll want to try our microfibre stuffed inserts. We use plenty of high-quality microfibre, so you can be assured that your cushion will be extremely comfortable and won’t go flat after a few uses. As it’s hypoallergenic, this cushion inner is particularly recommended for people with asthma. We offer both microfibre casings and 100% organic cotton casings.
Most of our cushions inserts have been double-stitched, so you don’t need to worry about stuffing escaping when you collapse on the sofa. All of our cushion inners can be machine washed. With regular plumping, our cushion pads should keep their shape for years to come.
As previously mentioned, we stock a wide range of sizes; if you want a really plump cushion, you may want to size up slightly. As well as square and rectangular cushion pads, we offer several sizes of bolster cushions.
Are you intending to make your own cushion cover? At Homescapes, we stock more than 50 choices of cotton fabric, in a wide range of colours and designs.
How To Choose The Right Size Cushion Pad
It is recommended that you opt for the next size up when shopping for cushion inserts. This will give the cushion a fuller and more inviting look. For example, if your cover is 16x16 inch, then a filler of 18x18 inch is advised. For more information read our cushion pads buying guide.
