Homescapes is open and working with the same care and efficiency as ever.
All non-furniture dispatch times remain normal and are not affected by Covid-19We understand that this is a trying time for all and hope that you are able to find a little respite in shopping with us or simply browsing our website for home ideas. Our social channels remain open and operational and our friendly and dedicated customer care team are on hand to help with any queries or questions.
Established since the year 2000, we are a business that operates solely online, we do not come into physical contact with customers and our staff work out of large distribution warehouses so that more than adequate social distancing can be maintained.
We have implemented the following changes
- We have increased our cleaning regime and provided staff with more washing facilities.
- Where possible our office staff are working remotely.
- All members of staff have been briefed and are following the Government & WHO’s strict guidelines with regards to distance and hygiene.
Deliveries are still continuing as normal. The following measures have now been put in place ensure the safety of customers, staff and couriers:
- If a safe place is available, your parcel will be delivered here and a card will be posted through your door.
- If no safe place is available and proof of delivery is required, your parcel will be placed on your doorstep, your courier will then ring or knock your door and retreat 2 metres away. You will be asked to confirm your surname and this will be taken as proof of delivery.
- If your door is not answered, couriers will attempt to deliver to a neighbour and the same process will be followed.
- We can assure you that all courier companies used by Homescapes have been fully briefed of this new delivery process and under no circumstances should any parcel be left on a doorstep or in public view.
We are still delivering.
We are currently not able to continue to offer next day delivery on larger furniture items.
So that we can deliver your furniture to you safely we are operating a contactless delivery service.
- Furniture will be delivered to your door and you will take receipt of your furniture at your door, our couriers will maintain a safe distance and take note that your order has been received, they may also document delivery by taking a photograph.
- If you wish for your furniture to be unpacked in a room of your choice, our couriers will ask you to maintain distance when they carrying and unpacking your item. They will take note that your order has been received, they may also document delivery by taking a photograph.
